How do you verify contact lens prescriptions?

Federal Law requires all contact lens retailers to verify all prescriptions with the prescribing authority, unless they have the prescription in hand. Just Lenses is in full compliance with this law as it seeks to supply its customer's with quality contact lenses.

Prescription verification works one of two ways:

1. You fax us a copy of the prescription. Click for details.


2. You provide us with the name and phone number of your eye care provider and we'll contact them to verify your prescription. If your eye care provider does not respond to our request within 8 business hours, we will assume the prescription you provided is valid and we will process and ship your order.

Note: Federal Law also requires your eye care provider to release a copy of your prescription, both upon completion of the fitting and upon request at a later date. Be sure to take advantage of this and get a copy of your prescription, it belongs to you.
